Built in the 9th century, Rougon is a medieval village which has retained all its character with its old houses and some ruins. Do not miss those of the castle, an important testimony of our history! Two old bridges are also to be noted for their age and their architecture: the Tusset bridge and the Carajuan Bridge.

Rougon is one of the 46 member municipalities of the Verdon Regional Natural Park . The village can be the starting point for walks and hikes. For example, the famous Blanc-Martel trail which will lead you to the Verdon river for unforgettable moments.
