The Rando Aqua is the flagship activity of the Verdon , the only possibility of visiting the Grandes Gorges or the Grand Canyon by swimming, it has become the essential activity of the region.
You will have to wait until the dam is closed on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays in July and August to come and visit the preserved and protected area of the Grand Canyon du Verdon.
You will have to walk for a quarter of an hour to get to the start, which will gently wake up the muscles.
The course is then a succession of swims in large pools of water, passages of small rapids and is punctuated by a few jumps for the intrepid, the rapids to be crossed are of low and progressive difficulty. This is why this course offered by Haute Provence Outdoor , is accessible from 8 years old and ideal to do with the whole family!
This hike allows you to discover an original activity and appreciate the Verdon from a different perspective, including the fabulous entrance to the Grand Canyon in the final part.

The “Pont de Tusset” aquatic hiking route is particularly well suited to the youngest and to people who wish to familiarize themselves with the activity while quietly discovering the Gorges du Verdon.
Near Castellane, this Aqua Rando starts at the “Pont de Tusset” and ends at the entrance to the Grand Canyon du Verdon offering a marvelous panorama of the “Point Sublime“.
