Terms of Sales

Haute Provence Outdoor means any activity organized by Haute Provence Outdoor , its representatives and service providers.

Insurance

Haute Provence Outdoor organizes and covers any activity, which is provided by AXA via the broker Assur connect.

Equipment

Equipment and material approved and compliant with safety standards are available.

The equipment provided is indicated on the site and more precisely on the page of the activity corresponding to the reservation.

Equipment hire :
A deposit is required before the equipment is handed over for all paddle and canoe hire. The deposit will be returned to the hirer once the canoe/paddle has been returned in good condition.
A rental contract is drawn up at the time of rental, setting out all the rental conditions and the rules to be respected by the hirer.
The hirer undertakes to hire the equipment in good working order.

Haute Provence Outdoor (HPO) hires out live action cameras to accompany your activities. The customer undertakes to return the camera in good working order at the end of the activity. If the camera is not returned, HPO reserves the right to take all necessary measures, including legal action, to recover the camera or obtain compensation for any damage suffered.

Booking

On receipt of the deposit payment, your reservation is said to be confirmed. No reservation will be recorded without payment.

Last-minute reservations will require full payment.

Methods of payment (non-exhaustive list): Cheque, payment by credit card, holiday vouchers, cash, bank transfer.

Price

The prices are clearly displayed in HT or TTC. And present the amounts of VAT at 10%, 20% and special rates.

Discounts: The websites managed by Haute Provence Outdoor offer one-off promotional offers.

These apply to bookings made only under the reference of these offers and over the periods advertised.

Special registration conditions

Commitment and solidarity:

As part of a group, or registration for several people, the subscriber undertakes to make known and approve the general conditions as well as the documentation of the stay to all registered participants.

In the event of a breach of the T & Cs by one or more participants, all of the services are due by the subscriber.

Cancellations

Following a reservation, the minimum cancellation period is set at 5 days before the date of the activity.

Haute Provence Outdoor will not grant any refund once this period has passed.

Cancellations can only be made by email to the address: contact@haute-provence-outdoor.com`

A €5 cancellation fee applies to all confirmed and paid bookings, even if the cancellation is made 5 days or more before the activity. (Fee includes: management fee & booking software fee)

Modification of the reservation

In case of modification of the reservation (number of people, desired activity, options …), the subscriber must notify Haute Provence Outdoor

at contact@haute-provence-outdoor.com at least 5 days before the date of the activity.

After this period, all services are due by the subscriber.

Refunds

Haute Provence Outdoor reserves the right to propose (if informed within the required time):

A refund equal to or less than 100% of the amount of the reservation and including a refund fee of 5€ .

Retractions

The consumer’s right of withdrawal according to articles L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code does not apply to contracts having as their object the provision of accommodation, transport, catering and leisure services, dated.

The contractor will therefore not benefit from any right of withdrawal.

Responsibilities

Given the specific and adventurous nature of our activity, each participant is aware of the risks he can run. He assumes them with full knowledge of the facts and undertakes not to place the responsibility for these risks on Haute Provence Outdoor. This also applies to beneficiaries and any member of the family.

Each participant must comply with the advice and instructions given by the staff supervising the Haute Provence Outdoor activities and stays.

Which can not be held responsible for incidents, accidents or bodily injury … which result from an imprudent personal initiative.

Haute Provence Outdoor disclaims all liability for personal property (loss, breakage, theft, etc.) on the activity sites, vehicles and headquarters of Haute Provence Outdoor.

Each participant recognizes being in good health and not presenting any contraindication to the practice of OUTDOOR sports.

Within the framework of a group of several people, the subscriber undertakes to make known and approve the general conditions as well as the documentation of the service to all registered participants.

For minors participating in the activities, under the supervision of an external organization, the latter is legally responsible for the conditions of participation.

Then, for minors registered with their parents / guardians, they are responsible.

A minor alone cannot register without parental authorization or an identified guardian.

Program modifications

Firstly, by the organizer:

Haute Provence Outdoor reserves the right to modify the program of a service for reasons of safety, floods, drought, natural or accidental disasters (pollution), insufficient technical, physical or psychological level of the participants, without ‘none of the participants can claim any compensation.

Only Haute Provence Outdoor is authorized to make decisions regarding program modifications, if deemed necessary.

You will not be able to obtain a refund for any modified, interrupted or unused service, whatever the reasons.

Cards and Gift Vouchers

Definition:

These general conditions of use govern the conditions of use of gift coupons issued by Haute Provence Outdoor, by any natural person holding a voucher and wishing to make a reservation.

Use:

Customers can only bought the voucher on the Haute Provence Outdoor website and can use it by phone or on the website.

At the time of the buying of the voucher, you accept the general conditions of sale which govern its use and which are available on the site.

Validity:

The voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of sale. For each booking, only one coupon can be used. If the amount of the voucher is not sufficient to cover the booking, it is possible to supplement by another means of payment.

In the event of loss, theft, difficulty of use or for other information, the beneficiary must contact Haute Provence Outdoor customer service.

Use of personal data

Finally, Haute Provence Outdoor and its online booking and planning management provider Trekker PRO commit to protecting the personal data of their customers. Neither entity resells, shares or monetizes customer data.

Haute Provence Outdoor and Trekker ensure that they do not collect data allowing the identification of natural persons other than those explicitly requested from the subscriber of the reservation.

HPO and Trekker keep the data provided by their customers for 6 years for tax reasons. In particular in compliance with the 2018 Finance Law and the fight against VAT fraud.

Even at the explicit request of the customer, Haute Provence Outdoor cannot delete any data from the Trekker PRO software. These are used to arrive at a pricing within the structure of the 2018 Finance Law.
