Do you know the lake of Castillon?
The 8 km long lake of Castillon located above the village of Castellane , extends from the village of Saint André les Alpes to the dam of Castillon passing through the village of Saint Julien du Verdon.
Of the five lakes of the Gorges du Verdon , it is the second lake in area after the Sainte-Croix lake.
It offers several activities, in addition to being able to visit picturesque villages . It offers you beautiful beaches for relaxation as well as rental companies to take a paddle , canoe and pedalo ride on the lake. You can also discover beautiful hikes with breathtaking panoramas.
Want to discover the Chaudanne lake?
The Lac de Castillon flows into the Lac de Chaudanne created by the dam of the same name.
The latter, although smaller and more discreet , has some nice surprises in store. By its small size and its encirclement by limestone cliffs, it gives a wilder impression. Above we can see the village of Demandolx where you will also find beautiful hikes here.
The Chaudanne lake flows into the Verdon river and depending on the days of opening or closing of the dam, gives us the possibility of doing beautiful activities such as rafting or hiking-aqua .
The atmosphere of these two lakes is radically different and offers many possibilities.

We offer two different formulas of approximately 1h30 on the water:
Option N ° 1 : Discovery in Stand Up Paddle or in Canoe Lake Chaudanne or Castillon
Option N ° 2 : Discovery in Paddle or in Canoe one of the two lakes, at the nightfall (sunset).
