Requirements :

Not having vertigo

Be in good physical condition and not suffer from any medical contraindication to the practice of sport.

Know how to swim and be comfortable in the water

Equipment needed:

A good pair of sneakers (Required)
A swimsuit, Shorts
A towel
A bag for dry items
A bottle of water
A sandwich for lunch

A cord for glasses (1 € on site) or lenses

We provide:

Full neopren wetsuit
Safety equipment
A harness
A waterproof container and a canyon bag

Every year from May 15 to August 15 , come and enjoy this exceptional canyon. Considered one of the most beautiful sites in France , it enjoys an exceptional reputation among fans of the discipline.

Located in the Estéron valley, at the foot of the village of Sigale, the Riolan is particularly known for its white rocks and its milky water which give it a very particular aspect and an incomparable aesthetic .

The beauty of the site as well as its sporty and fun side make it a must for canyoning in the Verdon !

Le Riolan: a course dedicated to athletes!

The progression is done in incredible narrowness of more than 200 meters in height .
In the heart of the Préalpes d’Azur park, the Riolan course offers a rhythmic succession of countless slides , jumps of up to 10 meters and abseiling.

The sequence of all these obstacles makes the Riolan a particularly playful and aquatic course, in an absolutely grandiose setting!

Indeed, over time, the water has sculpted the rocks into incredible basins in which you will dive with delight and excitement !

This physical course without escape takes place over a full day. Even if it is preferable to already have a first experience in canyoning before attempting the adventure, it is not necessarily mandatory.

The Riolan is, however, aimed at a sporty and enduring public who know how to swim well and who are not subject to vertigo !

This is why it is accessible from the age of 16 only.
